Feel free to drag and drop me anywhere you like on your page. I’m a great place for you to tell a story and let your users know a little more about you. This is a great space to write long text about your company and your services. You can use this space to go into a little more detail about your company. Talk about your team and what services you provide. Tell your visitors the story of how you came up with the idea for your business and what makes you different from your competitors. Make your company stand out and show your visitors who you are.

Hands Up

After nearly a five-month long bout with COVID 19, Hempstead resident, and long time Emanuel Baptist Church member, Theodore “Teddy” Alston was discharged from the Northwell Health Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation this morning at 11:00 am. Alston, age 77, was admitted to North Shore Hospital with Coronavirus on March 28th, where he was a patient for 4 months.  While at North Shore, Alston was intubated for 6 weeks, and on a ventilator for 2 and a half months.  Then after approximately 4 months, by God's grace "Teddy" was able to be transferred to rehab.  And this morning at 11 am, the Northwell Health Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation gave Alston the hero’s sendoff he deserves, complete with staff lining up to salute this COVID survivor and hero as he was finally discharged and sent home to his loving wife Jeanette Alston.

Here is a link to the WCBS-TV New York coverage of the story. God is a Healer, and He’s a prayer answering God!!
