WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in Jesus the Christ.
We believe we have been declared righteous and should spend the rest of our lives living up to that justification.
We believe in growth through sanctification.
We believe there is none righteous but Jesus Christ and we strive to Magnify His ways.
Our MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of Emanuel Baptist Church of Elmont...
... is to "Magnify Jesus The Christ" (MAJESTiC) in our regular worship and fellowship, in the preaching and teaching of God's Word, in the making of disciples, and in the impacting and uplifting of our ever widening communities.

After nearly a five-month long bout with COVID 19, Hempstead resident, and long time Emanuel Baptist Church member, Theodore “Teddy” Alston was discharged from the Northwell Health Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation this morning at 11:00 am. Alston, age 77, was admitted to North Shore Hospital with Coronavirus on March 28th, where he was a patient for 4 months. While at North Shore, Alston was intubated for 6 weeks, and on a ventilator for 2 and a half months. Then after approximately 4 months, by God's grace "Teddy" was able to be transferred to rehab. And this morning at 11 am, the Northwell Health Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation gave Alston the hero’s sendoff he deserves, complete with staff lining up to salute this COVID survivor and hero as he was finally discharged and sent home to his loving wife Jeanette Alston.
Here is a link to the WCBS-TV New York coverage of the story. God is a Healer, and He’s a prayer answering God!!
